*If you are on an antibiotic, this service CANNOT be performed

*If getting lip blushing, please do not get lip filler one month before as we will not be able to perform this service if you do so. 

*Chemical peels and laser peels should not be performed before the procedure.

Two weeks before your appointment:
* Stop taking the following supplements; vitamin A, Vitamin E, B6, Omega 3, Gingko Biloba, Fish oil, and St. John’s Wort as they contribute to thinning the blood and may affect anesthetic efficacy. You may resume taking your vitamins 72 hours after.

*If getting microblading: Please do not get Botox two weeks prior to your appointment as we will not be able to perform this service if you do so

*DO NOT have AHA preparations performed one week prior to your appointment

*Start hydrating your lips. Drink lots of water, keep spf on them, keep a hydrating lip balm on them. The more hydrated they are the better!

72 Hours before your appointment
Avoid exfoliation, plucking or waxing your brows (if getting microblading), alcohol, aspirin and any other related blood thinners (Unless instructed by your physician.)

The day of your appointment:
Avoid caffeine and exercise. If getting microblading Wash your hair in the morning as you will need to avoid the getting your brows wet for several days.

***Keep in mind that this is a 2-step process and it is not permanent, and you shouldn’t expect to see full results after only one treatment. It is recommended that you come for the initial appointment and then once again for your perfecting visit in 6-8 weeks after the brow has completely healed.

Some other things to keep in mind...
* Please know that your lips or brows will be significantly darker immediately following your appointment. This will reduce 30-50%. Also, redness or swelling is a result that you could possibility experience that could last up to a couple days. 

* We will numb you for 20-30 minutes prior to your microblading or lip blushing. Although we do numb some clients still may feel a slight discomfort or sensitivity throughout your service but we will continue to apply numbing solution to keep you comfortable. 

(An allergic reaction can occur from any anesthetic used but is not common. If you do experience an allergic reaction you may see redness, swelling, rash, blistering, dryness or any other symptom associated with an allergic reaction. If you think you are suffering from an allergic reaction you should contact you doctor right away. )

**We cannot perform microblading or lip blushing if you are currently pregnant or nursing.**




* Avoid getting the area wet during the healing process. If your eyebrows or lips get wet just pat them dry with a towel. It is very important that you DO NOT rub them.  

* Avoid saunas, swimming or tanning beds. Sun exposure can affect the healing
process and cause the pigment to fade.  

* You might find that your eyebrows or lips will scab or become dry. It is very important that you do not touch, rub, pick or scratch following the procedure or during the healing process because you can remove the color. If you must relieve the itch, just tap them with your finger.

* Apply your healing balm according to your artists advice. If you have excessively oily skin you may not need to use the balm at all. For those that have dry skin the healing balm can be used morning, mid afternoon and at bedtime. 
 
*Avoid putting your normal daily skincare products or makeup directly on the area until they are completely healed.
